The Forest Entrepreneurs Workshop is happening on August 27th prior to the ForestFest. The workshop is a part of a larger program to serve and support forest-based businesses and forest-based entrepreneurs in the Sierra Nevada region.

This includes everything from businesses that focus on forest thinning to wood products manufacturing. The program is supported by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy and includes in-person and online workshops, both one-on-one and group training, and peer learning. Participants will be eligible for up to $3,000 of funding to pay for certain specialized assistance as needed to ensure success. The program begins with an in-person event on August 27th, which leads into ForestFest. We are encouraging workshop participants to stay and enjoy the event after the workshop ends.
